1. Who we are
NorthBridge Business Advisory LLC is a limited liability company providing business consulting, management and advisory services. Our offices are at 90 Garfield Dr, Lot 44, Jesup, GA 31545 and 300 Nickel St, Broomfield, CO 80020, United States. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean NorthBridge Business Advisory LLC, and "you" means any person who visits this website, contacts us, or engages our services.
We decide how the personal information described in this policy is handled, and we are responsible for protecting it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, role and the company you represent
- Email address, telephone number and business address
- Industry, approximate revenue band and the nature of your enquiry
- Anything you choose to tell us about your situation and objectives
- Correspondence with our team by email, telephone, video call or in person
Information created during an engagement
- Contracts, scopes of work, invoices and payment records
- Financial statements, ledgers, payroll summaries and management accounts you provide
- Contracts, policies and operating documents supplied for review
- Interview notes, workshop output and diagnostic findings
- Models, dashboards and reports we build for you
Information collected automatically
- Standard server log data recorded by our hosting provider, such as browser type, device type and approximate region
- Page views and visit times, if analytics is in use as described in section 6
We do not seek special category information such as health data, and we ask that you do not send it. Where information about your employees necessarily reaches us during an organisational or payroll related engagement, it is handled under the confidentiality terms of the signed service agreement.
3. How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals and scopes of work
- To deliver the services set out in a signed agreement
- To invoice and to keep the accounting records the law requires
- To communicate about live engagements, including scheduling and reporting
- To maintain internal records and improve how we scope and deliver work
- To meet legal, tax, insurance and regulatory obligations
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims if that becomes necessary
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, we do not use it for profiling, and we do not add enquirers to any mailing list unless they ask to be added.
4. Client and financial information
Advisory work necessarily involves sensitive commercial information: financial statements, payroll, supplier terms, customer lists, strategic plans and, at times, information about a possible sale or restructuring. We treat all of it as confidential from the first conversation, whether or not a confidentiality agreement has been signed.
Access inside the firm is limited to the advisors assigned to your engagement plus, where necessary, a partner for review. We do not use one client's figures to advise another, we do not publish client identifying detail without written permission, and any case example on this website is either anonymised or published with consent.
5. The contact form and email
The enquiry form on our contact page sends nothing to any server of ours. When you press the button, your browser assembles the details you typed into a message and hands it to your own email application. Nothing is stored on this website and nothing leaves your device until you press send in your own email program.
Once sent, the message arrives in our business mailbox and is handled like any other business correspondence under the retention rules in section 8. The transmission itself is governed by the privacy practices of your email provider and ours.
The fee estimator on our pricing page also runs entirely in your browser. The figures you choose are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third party marketing tags, and it places no cookies of its own on your device.
The site loads web fonts from a third party font service so pages display as designed. That request is made by your browser and may expose your internet protocol address to the font provider under that provider's own privacy terms.
If we introduce analytics in future it will be a privacy respecting, cookie free service recording aggregate page views only, and this section will be updated before it goes live.
7. Sharing with third parties
- Service providers. Our website host, email provider, document storage, video conferencing and accounting software providers, who process information on our instructions and under contract.
- Professional advisers. Our own accountants, insurers and attorneys, where they need the information to advise us.
- Parties you direct us to. With your instruction, we work with your accountant, attorney, lender or insurer on your behalf.
- Authorities. Where disclosure is required by law, by a court, or by a regulator with proper authority.
We do not transfer client information outside the United States other than through mainstream business software providers whose infrastructure may be located elsewhere. We never disclose your financial figures, contracts, strategy or the existence of an engagement to another client.
8. Retention periods
- Enquiries that do not become engagements: up to 24 months, then deleted
- Engagement records and correspondence: 7 years after the engagement ends
- Contracts, invoices and accounting records: 7 years, as required for tax purposes
- Client financial data supplied for analysis: returned or deleted within 12 months of the engagement ending, on request at any time
- Models and deliverables: archived so returning clients can be served, unless you ask in writing for deletion
- Server logs: as retained by our hosting provider, typically no more than 90 days
9. Security
We use access controlled cloud storage with multi factor authentication, encrypted transmission for email and file sharing, full disk encryption on firm devices, and a policy of granting each advisor access only to the engagements they work on. Physical documents at either office are held in locked storage.
No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that presents a real risk to you, we will notify you promptly and explain what happened, what was involved and what we are doing about it.
10. Your rights and choices
Wherever you are located, we will honour the following requests where we are lawfully able to.
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Ask us to delete information we are not required to keep
- Ask us to stop using your details for anything other than delivering agreed work
- Withdraw consent where our use of information rests on consent
- Ask us not to sell or share your personal information, which we already do not do
Residents of Colorado have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and residents of other states may have comparable rights under their own laws. To exercise any of these, write to business@northbridgeconsult.org with enough detail for us to locate your records. We respond within 30 days, we do not charge a fee, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
11. Children
Our services are provided to businesses and this website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes and contact
We update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it, and the date at the top shows the most recent revision. Where a change materially affects clients with a live engagement, we notify them by email rather than relying on the website alone.
